Membership Terms & Conditions

1. MEMBERSHIP OVERVIEW

Membership grants the individual named on the account access to the facilities and services associated with Clayton Hills Golf Course and/or The Backyard, depending on the membership level selected.

2. MEMBERSHIP TERM & RENEWAL

• Annual memberships are for a 12-month term.
• Monthly membership are for a period of 30 days and renew automatically.
• All Memberships automatically renew unless written notice of cancellation is provided at least 30 days before the renewal date.
• Renewals will be billed at the current membership rate in effect at the time of renewal.
• Early cancellation is not permitted, and memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable.

3. ACCESS & USE OF FACILITIES

• Members may access facilities during posted operating hours.
• Access may be restricted without notice due to:
• Private events
• League play
• Tournaments or special events
• Scheduled maintenance
• Unsafe or poor weather conditions (e.g., rain, snow, frost, wind)
• Safety or operational concerns
• Members must follow posted signage, staff instructions, and digital notices.
• Advance notice of closures will be provided when possible.

4. MEMBER CONDUCT

• Members must behave respectfully toward staff, fellow members, and guests.
• Inappropriate conduct (e.g., harassment, vandalism, unsafe behavior) may result in suspension or termination of membership without refund.
• Members are responsible for their guests and their behavior while on site.

5. FEES & PAYMENTS

• Membership fees are based on a 12-month commitment and are locked in for the duration of the term.
• Members may choose to pay:
• The full annual amount upfront at a discounted rate, or
• 12 equal monthly installments.
• Monthly payments are part of a contract for the full 12-month term.
• Late or failed payments may result in suspension of facility access until resolved.
• Renewals will be billed at the current pricing in effect at the time of renewal, which may reflect price increases.
• Pricing changes for upcoming terms will be communicated with at least 30 days’ notice.

7. SUSPENSION & TERMINATION

• Clayton Hills reserves the right to suspend or terminate memberships for policy violations or unpaid dues.
• Suspended or terminated memberships are not eligible for refunds.

8. ASSUMPTION OF RISK

• Use of the facilities involves inherent risks.
• By participating, members voluntarily accept those risks and waive liability against Clayton Hills Golf Course, The Backyard, and all associated entities.

9. EVENT PRIORITY DISCLAIMER

• Access may be restricted due to league play, tournaments, or private events.
• No credits, extensions, or refunds will be issued for such closures.
• We aim to provide advance notice when possible.

10. CHANGES TO TERMS

• Terms & Conditions are subject to change.
• Members will be notified via email or in-facility posting.
• Continued use of membership confirms acceptance of the latest terms.
